"Kingcake Baby" Print

Akingcakeis a type ofcakeassociated in a number of countries with the festival ofEpiphanyat the end of theChristmasseason; in other places (like New Orleans) it is associated with the pre-Lentencelebrations ofMardi Gras/Carnival. Kingcakes oftenhave a small figurine hidden inside, which in New Orleans is usually a plastic baby. Whoever gets the baby has the responsibility to bring the next kingcake. This unique design is a play on words based on the traditional saying, "Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater!" This is a print of an original illustration by Anna Wilson.
